* [[Ectoplasmer]]'s effect could be used more than once per turn, but was not continuous. If the two monsters Tributed were the same card, damage done to either players is negated.
* [[Ryo Bakura|Yami Bakura]] used "[[Ectoplasmer]]" and [[Tribute]]d "[[Duke of Demise]]" to defeat [[Bonz]] in [[Battle City]]. He placed it on the [[Field Card Zone]] because in the anime, it's a [[Field Spell Card]].
