- "Gift of the Mystical Elf" was used by Seto Kaiba in his Duel with Yugi Muto on top of Pegasus' castle. However, in this case it was a Spell Card rather than a Trap Card in the Japanese version with a different artwork.
- This card was seen in Yami Marik's hand during his Duel against Yami Bakura, though only in the dub..
