* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 004|episode 4]], [[Weevil Underwood]] used uses this card in during his Duel against [[Yami Yugi]]. He equips this card onto "[[Basic Insect (anime)|Basic Insect]]", making its ATK 950. Weevil then equips "Basic Insect" with "[[LV2 Lev. 2 Power Boost]]", making its ATK 2150. This card is later destroyed when "Basic Insect" is destroyed by "[[Mirror Force]]".** In the episode where this card was used, it was called [["Level 3 Laser Cannon]]".** In the manga version, the card retains its original name, but increases an insect's attack ATK by 1500 and defense DEF by 2000 points instead. Furthermore, the [[Field Power Bonus]] is applied after this card's effect is placed, hence "[[Basic Insect (manga)|Basic Insect]]" gets 2000 ATK plus the 30% bonus, totaling up to 2600 ATK.

* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 016|episode 16]], this card can be seen in [[Seto Kaiba|Kaiba]]'s briefcase when he takes out a Duel Disk from his briefcase and tosses it to [[JoeyWheeler]].

* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 026|episode 26]], this card can be seen in Kaiba's briefcase when he takes a Duel Disk from his briefcase and tosses it to [[Maximillion Pegasus]].

* When In [[Maximillion PegasusYu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 053|episode 53]] lost to Yugi, this card can be seen in the scattered remains of his deck. He never actually played it though, and it remains questionable, if Pegasus actually had any [[Insect]]-Types in his deck at all, for he primary played [[Spellcaster]]- appears on a poster that Yugi and [[ToonTéa Gardner]] monstersread when they find a game store that was selling Duel Monster cards.

* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - Episode 044|episode 44]], this card is shown among other cards that were used in an unfinished Ground Duel between two [[Satellite ]] residents(the Duel involved a Duelist Base and no holographic projections). The Duel was not finished due to the Satellite residents being absorbed by a shadowy fog.
