- If you activate "Meteor of Destruction", and an effect is chained that causes your opponent's Life Points to fall below 3000, "Meteor of Destruction" was already activated properly, so it resolves as normal.
Japanese Rulings
- If your opponent lowers their Life Points during a Chain involving this card, as long as your opponent has 3000 or more Life Points when this card is activated, 1000 damage will still be inflicted (the requirement must be met when this is activated not when it resolves). This also applies when this card is chained to by the effect of Continuous Spell Card.
