OCG Rulings
- This card's effect that Special Summons it from your hand is an Ignition Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
- This effect can only be activated if there are no Effect Monster face-up in your Monster Zone. (It can be activated if the only Effect Monsters on your field are in face-down Defense Position.)[1]
- This card's effect that negates the activation of a card or effect that targets a non-Effect Monster is a Quick Effect that activates in the hand or Graveyard. (Banishing "Tenyi Dragon Manira" from your hand or Graveyard is the cost to activate this effect, and it can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- This effect does not target. It is activated by chaining directly to your opponent's card or effect (including a Spell/Trap activation, Spell/Trap effect, or monster effect) that targets a face-up non-Effect Monster in your Monster Zone.[1]
