  • Q: Can I banish a face-up "Phantom of Chaos" on my field when activating "World Legacy Clash"?
A: When activating "World Legacy Clash", it is not possible to banish a monster with an original ATK and DEF of 0 for the cost. Even if "Phantom of Chaos" has gained the name and effects of another monster using its own effect, it cannot be banished to activate "World Legacy Clash".[1]
A: When activating "World Legacy Clash", you can banish a "Security Token" on your field for the cost. In that case, since Token monsters disappear when they leave the field, it will not return to the field during the End Phase, but the targeted monster will lose 2000 ATK and DEF normally.[2]
A: When activating "World Legacy Clash", you can banish a "Dark Magician of Chaos" on your field for the cost. In that case, "Dark Magician of Chaos" is banished by its own effect and will not return to the field during the End Phase, but the targeted monster will lose 2800 ATK and 2600 DEF normally.[3]

A: "Beast King Barbaros" has an original ATK of 3000 and original DEF of 1200. If you banish it to activate "World Legacy Clash", the opponent's targeted monster loses ATK and DEF accordingly. Even if the original ATK of "Beast King Barbaros" is treated as 1900 while on the field due to its own effect, it does not affect the resolution.[5]
  • Q: Can I banish a face-up "Tragoedia" from my field as the cost to activate "World Legacy Clash"?
A: You cannot banish monsters with "?" printed as both their original ATK and DEF, such as "Tragoedia", to activate "World Legacy Clash". In addition, even if the ATK and DEF of "Tragoedia" have increased by its own effect, it cannot be banished as the cost to activate "World Legacy Clash".[6]
A: Even in this scenario, the effect of "World Legacy Clash" is applied normally and the targeted monster loses 1300 ATK and 600 DEF, the original ATK and DEF values of Crawler Dendrite. Also, since "Krawler Dendrite" returned to the Graveyard, it does not return to the field during the End Phase.[7]
