- This card can be searched by "Mermail Abyssmegalo", "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- You can recycle this card with "Mermail Abyssleed".
- Use this card to Special Summon "Mermail Abysslinde" and, when it be destroyed during the End Phase, Special Summon a strong "Mermail" monster by its effect, like "Mermail Abyssmegalo", "Mermail Abyssleed", etc.
- You can chain this card to the activation of "Royal Decree" so that you can still Special Summon a "Mermail" monster. Since this card will be negated by "Royal Decree," the summoned monster will not be destroyed during the End Phase, allowing you to bring out a high-level "Mermail" monster without worrying about it being destroyed by the effect of "Abyss-sphere."
- Activate this card while you control a Tuner to Synchro Summon "Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier". Then use its effect to return "Abyss-sphere" to your hand to reuse it.
- Similarly you can use "Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite" to return this card to your hand and trigger its effect to detsroy the Summoned monster.
