- Dark Snake Syndrome works well with Des Wombat, as Des Wombat will prevent any effect damage you take. This results in your opponent taking all the damage from Dark Snake Syndrome.
- If you can't keep Des Wombat alive on the field long enough to keep you from taking damage from this card, use Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment or Solomon's Lawbook just before your Standby Phase.
- This card will win you the duel after 6 turns, assuming you can protect your lifepoints.
