• Use "Exchange" when you only have one card in your hand besides "Exchange" . Your opponent will be forced to take it, while you get to pick any of their cards while also getting a look at their current hand.

• Use Exchange if you know that they are using an Exodia Deck, taking their Exodia pieces, so they cannot win the duel. Also use this card when you know your opponent has a strong card in his/her hand.

• If you know some of your opponent's strong cards, use "Dark Designator" so your opponent will have a strong card in their hand. After that use Exchange to take that card and use it. Yami Bakura used this strategy.

• Use This Card To Gain Advantage and To give some Card to your opponent, who their cannot use or who helps you but not to your opponent, Obvious Asegurate of not having Cards that can use both players or that your opponent can Also play, Like "Monster Reborn, Mirror Force, Krebons, Heavy Storm, Gorz the Emissary of Darkness, etc.

• This card Perfects Fit in a Side Deck, for a Mirror Match, Obvious asegurate of not giving Cards to your opponent that can benefit to him/her, and/or a Disadvantage for You. (I.E. If you plays Lightsworns, you can steal his/her Judgment Dragon or any lightsworn monster/support and give an Wulf, Lightsworn Beast, or any other Card. If you Play Tele-DAD, you can take your's opponent Dark Armed Dragon, Emergency Teleport, Destiny Draw, Etc., and give to Him/Her an unusefull card for you.

• Consider this card in place of Mind Crush; although your opponent will not lose hand advantage, it allows you to both see your opponent's hand, and take away a potentially dangerous card.
