- This card is extremely useful with "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" and "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys", as it sets up their effects easily.
- This card can be useful in a "Gladiator Beast" deck. Use this card to special summon "Gladiator Beast Laquari", then normal summon another "Gladiator Beast" monster. You can either fusion summon "Gladiator Beast Essedarii", or attack with both monsters and tag out the other "Gladiator Beast" for "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" to detroy a Spell/Trap and then fusion summon "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus" to detroy 2 more cards, or tag out for "Gladiator Beast Darius" to special summon a third "Gladiator Beast" monster from your graveyard and fusion summon "Gladiator Beast Heraklinos". All three options take advantage of the extra "Gladiator Beast Laquari" and use it to fusion summon a monster before it is destroyed by the effect of "Assault of the Fire Kings".
- You can also normal summon "Rescue Rabbit" after special summoning "Gladiator Beast Laquari" with this cards effect, then use Rabbit's effect to summon 2 "Gladiator Beast Andals" and fusion summon "Gladiator Beast Heraklinos" right away.
