* This card is very handy in a [[Lightsworn]] deck. You are going to wind up with many monsters in your Graveyard whether you want to or not, this card helps forestall decking out and gets some extra cards in your hand in the process. However, by returning the [[Lightsworn]]s, it would be harder to summon their ace monster, [[Judgment Dragon]]. (not problem if Judgment Dragon itself got milled)
* If you don't want to thicken your deck, you can return [[Synchro Monsters|Synchro]], [[Fusion Monsters|Fusion]] and/or [[Exceed Xyz Monsters]] into your Extra deck.
* Use 3 [[Pot of Avarice]] in a Frog deck. Having [[Substitoad]] and any monster on the field will allow you to fill the graveyard with frogs by constantly tributing them, meeting [[Pot of Avarice]]'s cost.
