"Card Guard" and "Magic Reflector" can help protect this card until it can be used to draw cards.

This card fits well in "Herald of Perfection" Decks, usually slow-paced control/lockdown decks. The Herald himself can protect this card from destruction, which will then refill your hand with cards to discard with Herald's effect.

In a deck that uses "Divine Grace - Northwemko", this card can be a target for the shielding effect of "Northwemko" to protect her from destruction effects until you need to use it to draw two cards instead.
