- Combo this card with Double-Edged Sword Technique.
- Use this card after you attack with two Six Samurai monsters to push for another attack with Great Shogun Shien.
- You can also use the 2 Tributed monsters to Summon Enishi, Shien's Chancellor.
- What hurts is when you draw this card AND Great Shogun Shien in your first hand. Here are a few suggestions on how to avoid that hurting so much:
* Have more than 1 Great Shogun Shien in your Deck.
