- Use "Double-Edged Sword Technique" then tribute the two Six Samurai monsters with this card to Special Summon "Great Shogun Shien" from your deck. This way you won't take damage by "Double-Edged Sword Technique's" effect.
- Using this card allows you to not only summon "Great Shogun Shien", but allows you to discard Six Samurai Monsters to more easily summon "Enishi, Shien's Chancellor".
- Special Summon a "Great Shogun Shien" and then use this card to get another.
