- This card CAN be activated during the Damage Step.
- This card is useful for negating Graveyard effects that require a cost or can only activate once/per turn:
- Cards that require cost or can only be activated once: Plaguespreader Zombie, Glow-Up Bulb, Sangan, Dandylion, Wulf, Lightsworn Beast, etc.
- However, this card cannot stop effects like Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor or Treeborn Frog which can be activated endlessly in the same turn and do not require a cost.
- This card is unable to stop the negation effect of Stardust Dragon, but it can be used to stop it's return during the End-phase.
- Use this card to stop "recruiting" effects: Mystic Tomato, XX-Saber Emmersblade, Apprentice Magician (if it goes to the Graveyard) and similar cards. These are usually very hard to stop outside Divine Wrath and Solemn Warning. Having a way to negate such effects that isn't affected by Royal Decree or Seven Tools of the Bandit is very handy.
- Note that you can negate a CARD Effect, not just a Monster Effect. You can use this card to negate stuff like Statue of the Wicked, Skill Successor or the effect of a Spell Card sent to the Graveyard by Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude.
- Don't mistakenly reveal this card by attempting to negate cards such as D.D. Crow or Effect Veiler:
- These cards are sent to the graveyard in order to activate their effects, so they are technically IN the graveyard WHEN their effects activate. However, those effects themselves are still considered to be from/in the hand, not the graveyard.
