- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Shining Angel", "Worm Cartaros", "Worm Prince" and "Worm Queen".
- "All-Out Attacks" can be used to flip "Worm Yagan" face-up immediatly if it was Special Summoned face-down, even by its own effect.
- After you special summon this card from the graveyard while you control "Worm Xex", and after you flip it face-up, you can Xyz summon for a Rank 4 Xyz monster, such as "Number 39: Utopia" and "Wind-Up Zenmaister", the latter's effect offering additional synergy with other "Worm" monsters. Also, when "Worm Yagan" is detached as an Xyz Material, it will be sent to the graveyard instead of being banished.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched via "Last Will"
- "Imperial Iron Wall" will prevent "Worm Yagan" from being removed from play if it was Special Summoned by its own effect. Then, you can use "Mass Driver" to Tribute it and inflict 400 damage continuously for an OTK.
