- "Aetos" is Greek for "eagle", hence this monster's appearance and type.
- This card shares a name with Guardian Eatos and it's designated equip spell, Celestial Sword-Eatos.
- Alchemists used tin commonly as a catalyst and as a base metal in their attempts of transmutation.
