- "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl" appear on the artwork of this card.
- This card's name is based on the attack name of "Dark Magician Girl", but requires you to control both it and "Dark Magician" before you can use it.
- This card's effect appears to be the move Yami Yugi used to destroy Yami Marik's "Winged Dragon Of Ra", which in the manga was used simply by having both the Magician's on the field together (since they never had been until that point) and in the anime by activating the magic card "Ragnarok", which had the same effect, but at the cost of removing all of the player's cards in the hand, Deck, and Graveyard from play (for a better visual on screen).
- It is possible that this card references Yami Yugi destroying "The Winged Dragon of Ra" by assembling both "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl]]" in the manga, although it is unknown if it was this that allowed Yami Yugi to destroy Ra, or if it was merely the effect of "Magical Dimension". This card also references "Ragnarok", the anime-equivalent card of this move.
