- The Japanese name of this card is based on a famous pun of "尾も白い" (White Tail) being read the same as "面白い" (Interesting).
- Interestingly, this card depicts a cat with "Black Face" and "White Tail" which are completely opposite to typical bicolor cats in real life (White Face, Black Tail).
- The first part of this card's name ("Dark Cat") and its effect may allude to the superstitions regarding Black cats.
- This monster appears in the artwork of "Cat Meeting".
- This monster's effect is a watered-down version of "Penguin Soldier".
