- "Destiny Hero - Double Dude" is based on the characters of the novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
- Evidently the Muscle-bound figure behind the well dressed one are the two facets of the same person.
- The Muscled version in the card also bears very close resemblence with Destiny Hero - Captain Tenacious, without his armour. The hair, muscular body and the torn clothes seem to match.
- Destiny Hero - Departed may be one of the tokens summoned when Double Dude is sent to the graveyard.
