- The wing design and right arm bears a striking resemblance to Elemental Hero Flame Wingman.
- This is one of the few cards whoes Japanese name consists of only English alphabetical characters and punctuation, the others being "The big SATURN" and "The splendid VENUS".
- This card's Japanese name is "D-hero Bloo-D".
- When put into kanji, the card's name spells out Blood, even though the name is pronounce "Blue D."
