- This monster is named after Deuterium, or heavy hydrogen.
- This card physically resembles "Hydrogeddon", which makes sense as it too represents an atom of Hydrogen (albeit one with a higher neutron count, which is reflected by this card having 1 more level star, 400 more ATK and 400 more DEF than "Hydrogeddon").
