- His name seems to be based on the superhero, The Flash.
- This card's artwork somewhat resembles Elemental Hero Sparkman. Additionally, his DEF is the same as Sparkman's ATK.
- The monster design seems to be based on Protoman.exe from the Mega Man Battle Network games, or possibly the early Kamen Rider series.
