- This monster appears in the artwork of "Exchange of Night and Day".
- This card´s background is identical to the one of "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End".
- This card has a LIGHT counterpart: "Gaia, the Mid-Knight Sun".
- The knight himself is colored black, while his horse is white and points to the right corner, in contrast to "Gaia, the Mid-Knight Sun".
- This card and its counterpart, "Gaia, the Mid-Knight Sun", are a callback to when Yugi Muto first Ritual Summoned "Black Luster Soldier" using "Gaia The Fierce Knight" as a Tribute, as well as how "Gaia The Fierce Knight" is a requirement in summoning "Black Luster Soldier" in some games. This is further supported by how both this card and "Gaia, the Mid-Knight Sun" fit the requirements for summoning "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" and "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Evening Twilight".
