• The "D." in Giltia's name stands for "Dark", which is ironic, as he is a LIGHT monster.

• This monster appears in the artwork of "Fusion Shot".

• In the manga and anime, this monster appears as a Normal Monster and is a key card of Joey Wheeler in the Duelist Kingdom arc. It was made into a Fusion Monster in the OCG/TCG for an unknown reason. In the same way, another key normal monster of Joey's, Flame Swordsman, was also made into a Fusion Monster in the OCG/TCG.
