- "Realm of Light" can be seen in the background of the artwork. It is partially destroyed, so it is likely after the effects of "Light of Destruction (card)", or possibly it was the destructive force of "Judgment Dragon"'s own effect.
- This card's effect is similar to that of "Demise, King of Armageddon" and "Steelswarm Hercules".
- This card's summoning conditions are similar to "Rainbow Dragon" "Dark Armed Dragon" and "Archlord Kristya". However, this card is a lot less strict in its Summoning Condition.
- This monster resembles the Luck Dragon Falcor from The Never Ending Story.
- This card also resembles a hybrid between a European gryphon and a Chinese dragon.
- "Judgment Dragon"'s inclusion in Turbo Pack was the first instance a card was printed in the TCG as an Ultimate Rare without an Ultra Rare, Super Rare or Rare counterpart and the first to have a Secret Rare counterpart that isn't a tin promo.
- "Judgment Dragon" bears a resemblance to the Ancient Aztec god Quetzalcoatl a feathered dragon like serpent.
- "Judgment Dragons" effects bares a reference to Judgment Day. During Judgment Day, the world gets destroyed where in Judgment Dragons effect, it destroys everything but itself.
