Card Trivia:Kagemusha of the Blue Flame
- This is the very first monster played in the first episode of the English Yu-Gi-Oh! anime by Joey Wheeler, making it the first card ever played in any series of Yu-Gi-Oh, besides Season 0.
- This card's TCG name suffers from a mistranslation: 'Blue Flame' is a translation of 'Shien', and 'Kagemusha' means 'Body Double', making this monster "Shien's Body Double", and therefore affiliated with the "Six Samurai".
- This monster has a counterpart (or possibly a later form) in "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai". They both share the same color clothing and hair, as well as being a mirror image in posture.
- This monster also appears to be "Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien". They share skin and hair color, and have similar roles - operating as "Great Shogun Shien"'s body double and bodyguard.
- This monster appears in the artwork of "Unification", albeit with a different color palette.
