- "Freed the Matchless General", "Field-Commander Rahz", "Gagagigo" (Hidden, behind a tree) and the unknown warrior from the artworks of "Cry Havoc!" and "The A. Forces" appear in this card's artwork.
- This monster is a retrained version of "Marauding Captain".
- The emblem on this monster's apron is similar to the symbol used to represent the Warrior-Type in many Yu-Gi-Oh! video games.
- "Marmiting" refers to a style of French cooking, in which carefully selected ingredients are cooked in a large pot, and not to the British yeast extract based spread.
- Unusually despite "Freed the Matchless General" battling "Gagagigo" and "Giga Gagagigo" when he was younger, this card shows "Gagagigo" during the time where "Freed" was a general.
