- "Noble Arms - Caliburn" and "Noble Arms - Excaliburn" appear in this card's artwork.
- This card is a more powerful form of "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights". Excaliburn's article on Konami's blog implies that acquiring Excaliburn allowed Artorigus to become more powerful, an interpretation supported by Excaliburn's effect allowing King of the Noble Knights to Xyz Change into this card.
- This monster has exactly 200 ATK and DEF more than "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights", which in turn has 200 ATK and DEF more than "Noble Knight Artorigus".
- This card's name is very poorly worded, as "Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus" suggests that the monster in question is not "Artorigus" but rather a "Sacred Noble Knight" under Artorigus' command. yet the monster on the card is clearly King Artorigus himself
