- "Satellite Cannon" bears a resemblance to the satellite that Sartorius tried to gain access to during his final duel with Jaden in season two of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
- "Satellite Cannon's" design and name may be a reference to After War Gundam X in which the "Satellite Cannon" is a weapon used by the Gundam's with the signature "X" (4 solar panels that form an X like shape) design.
- This has an anime only support card known as "Charge".
- This card's effect and name suggests that each turn, "Satellite Cannon" collects Solar Power or some similar form of energy then releases this energy in some form of laser when it attacks.
