• ■This monster is an older version of "Shien's Yoriko".

• This card has a "Gladiator Beast" counterpart, "Test Ape".

• This monster is based after Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a samurai lord who united Japan. He served Oda Nobunaga (the model of Shien) as a footsoldier. He had the nickname Saru, meaning "monkey", because he looked like one.

• Strangely enough, there are no Level 1 or Level 2 Six Samurai monsters, although this card does say "level 3 or below". However in Storm of Ragnarok Level 2 Kagemusha of Six Samurai was released.
