- VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon's design is very similar to the Megazord from Power Rangers. The V, W, X, Y, and Z cards also resemble zords from the series.
- The guns were changed in the TCG artwork.
- According to the text, this is a semi-nomi monster that can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, unlike XYZ-Dragon Cannon
