- This card can be searched by "Worm Prince", "Reptilianne Echidna", "King of the Feral Imps", "Ogdoadic Water Lily", "Damage = Reptile", "Aron, the Ogdoadic King", "Reptilianne Melusine", "Dark Alligator", "Animadorned Archosaur", "Shadow's Light", "Chaos Zone", "Imperial Princess Quinquery", "Rescue Ferret", and other generic searchers.
- This card works well with "Dust Tornado", "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" or "Cyber Shadow Gardna".
- You can use "Toon Table of Contents" with this monster, simply just set "Toon Table of Contents" on the field and then activate it and add 1 more from the deck to the hand then set the other one, and so on.
- You should Set your Normal Spell Cards (such as "Monster Reborn", "Swords of Revealing Light", etc) before you Activate them to gain a Counter.
- While "Worm Illidan" is on your field, set "The Shallow Grave" face-down for 1 Worm Counter, then activate it to get another counter and destroy your opponent's monster
