So far only two actual people in the anime have lost due to Deck Out. One is [[Strings]] from [[Yu-Gi-Oh! (second series anime)]] and the other is [[Howard X Miller]] from [[Yu-Gi-Oh! GX]].
The first three main male protagonists have nearly decked out at least once in their own main series. [[Yugi Muto]] nearly Decked Out in his duels against Leon and later against Yami Bakura. [[Jaden Yuki]] nearly lost in his duel against Howard X Millerand Sartorius the second time they dueled. Yusei Fudo nearly lost in his duels against Mr. Armstrong and Jean.
