hear me out people who think its going to end, its not. yugioh the show and card game make too much money its not ending anytime soon... there could be a what if series or many other things for example there is a series before 5d's but after gx its like dragon ball z it will probly go on strong for 20-30 years. and hasve any of you wonderd about how konami is one of the strongest retail companys in the world. it could be affiliatted with the japanesse goverment and since japan is only known for electronics hot school girls and technology yugioh could be another way for them to make money

Let the show go away.

The anime has always runied yugioh by labing the yugioh card game as a childrens card game, giving yugioh a childish demenor. We know as yugioh players that that statement is very, very untrue; but sadly the rest of the world will never see it that way if the show keeps going. It must be something associated with the thinking of: "cartoons = childish. Childish = immature". (Which is also untrue). Lets let the anime end, give it a few years and hopefully yugioh will earn a better reputation from the rest of the non-yugioh playing world that yugioh isn't just a childrens card game that is played on a t.v show for kids. --184.96.223.211 (talk) 01:22, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

I will agree with you on LittleKuriboh is part of yugioh's card games bad reputation, but he isn't the only reason why.

  The fact that yugioh became a show that was also a problem. Like I stated before: "cartoons = childish". My first reasoning is what the show was (in Japan) to what it became (in American (you'll probably see that abridged refrence)). The first problem was it was aired on 4kids and the censorship ensued. This casused a loss in yugioh's voilence, blood, and heavy localization of the yugioh setting. Reduction in those themes caused the show all together to lose it's darker tone, causing the show to lose it's "touch" as a japanese anime and turned into a censored show aimmed for young kids. Second problem was shows of this same nature, censored and young kid friendly, were also airred along with yugioh. Not only were these shows "child-like" but for yugioh to be aired along shows like these shows would only make yugioh look more and more like some show aimmed for kids; because the shows being aried were also aimmed for kids. From being censored to being aired next to shows that were for kids cause yuigoh to be poorly assumed that yugioh in fact was a kid's show and it's corresponding card game was in fact seen as something meant for kids. --184.96.223.211 (talk) 02:29, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
