I have been curious about a possible break in the game's rulings for a long time. If you have Judgement Dragon and Michael the Arch-Lightsworn on the field, if you have 1000 life points, and Lightsworns in your graveyard, would activating Judgement Dragon's effect automatically make you lose, or would the chain of the gaining life points save you from losing, despite having 0 life points left? I have looked, and there was no ruling on it, so I bet it could go either way, but I just want to make sure. Irtehmrepic (talkcontribs) 15:30, November 23, 2014 (UTC)

The moment your life points became 0 you would lose, but in that situation you are not allowed to activate Judgment Dragon's effect in the first place for that reason. IPlay4Fun (talkcontribs) 15:50, November 23, 2014 (UTC)

This is actually true only in the TCG (A player cannot activate an effect that would reduce their Life Points to 0 or lower). In the OCG, you can activate and pay any effect that would reduce your Life Points to (exactly) 0, however this will also immediately cause you to lose. This is because while you cannot lose during the resolution of a single card, you still can lose in-between cards and your Life Points are 0 after the activation of the card in question, (such as the time before another card in chain can be activated). --LordGeovanni- (Talk To Me) *Kupo* 06:52, November 25, 2014 (UTC)
