So i was dueling a friend, and they special summoned a monster. I then reacted with solemn warning. He then activated a card called "psychic shockwave" and summoned jinzo with it. He claims that jinzo would negate solemn warning, but my argument was that it was a different chain, and therefore solemn would go through. Eventually we went in his favor, but I want to know if Jinzo's effect would be activated, or if they could even activate shockwave in the first place. --Barrows killer (talk • contribs) 01:26, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
You are correct. In the event of a Counter Trap being activated, only another Counter Trap can be activated in response. --MasterMarik (talk • contribs) 01:32, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
In addition to this, Jinzo's effect does not activate due to being continuous. It is always active unless there is effect negation in place prior to his summoning to the field or another negation effect in play. - Axel Shiokawa (talk • contribs) 01:42, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
