"Infernity, a portmanteau of the words "Infernal" and "Infinity", are all (インフェルニティ Inferuniti) is an DARK monster cards with effects activated when a player has no cards in their handarchetype. This archetype resembles much of the wild west, with cards such as "Infernity ArchfiendDARK", "Infernity Necromancer", and "Infernity Mirage" alluding to the native Americans while cards like "Infernity Avenger", "Infernity Randomizer", and "Infernity Launcher" (whose original Japanese name was "Infernity Gun") relate to the cowboys. This monsters was used by Kalin Kessler in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.In episodes 33, 34, and 35 in the English version of |Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, the archetype was referred to as Infernalty. The first "Infernity" cards were released as promotional cards in anime]] and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Acceleratormanga: ". They consist of monsters whose effects activate when a player has no cards in Infernity Archfiend", "Infernity Dwarf", and "Infernity Guardianhand". "Infernity Destroyer" was released In episodes 33 - 35 in the dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator - World Championship 2009 Game Guide in Japan, the archetype was referred to as "Infernalty".== Appearance ==The first "Infernity" card released in has two primary themes within their artworks; members originating from the anime have a booster pack was more Wild West-inspired aesthetic, as seen with "Infernity BeastAvenger" in and "Ancient ProphecyInfernity Randomizer. Two additional "Infernity" cards soon followed with for cowboys and the release likes of Stardust Overdrive: "Infernity NecromancerArchfiend" and the first "Infernity" Trap Card "Infernity ForceMirage"for Native Americans. With Meanwhile, the release of The Shining Darkness, fifteen manga members much more cards were added closely resemble chess pieces akin to the early "Infernity" archetype for further support. The Shining DarknessArchfiend also includes an "Infernity" Synchro Monster known as monsters, namely "Infernity Doom DragonPatriarch". and "Photon ShockwaveInfernity Knight introduced ". Fire is also a new monstercommonality shared by members of the archetype and as their name implies, are generally demonic in appearance.== Etymology =="Infernity Knight" is a portmanteau of the words "Infernal/Inferno" and "Infinity".

== How it works =Official Deck===The combo starts with a hand consisting solely of "Reasoning-Gate Infernity Mirage" and a field consisting of a "Shadowpriestess of Ohm". You also need "Infernity Archfiend", "Infernity Necromancer", "Infernity Beetle" and "Stygian Street Patrol" in your Graveyard. # Normal Summon "Infernity Mirage"# Tribute it to activate its |effect, Special Summoning "Infernity Necromancer" and "Infernity Archfiend" from your Graveyard.monsters =# "* Infernity ArchfiendHeiress's" effect activates, searching your deck for any "Infernity" card. Pick "Infernity Launcher".# Activate "Infernity Launcher" (Note that it does nothing at the moment).# Activate "* Infernity Necromancer's" effect, Special Summoning "Infernity BeetleDark Grepher" from your Graveyard.# Activate "* Infernity BeetleArcher's" effect, by Tributing itself to "Special Summon" two more "Infernity Beetles" from your Deck.# Using the effect of "Shadowpriestess of Ohm", Tribute the 1st "Infernity Beetle", the 2nd "Infernity Beetle", "Infernity Necromancer" and "* Infernity Archfiend" for a total of 3200 points of Burn Damage.x3# Activate "Infernity Launcher's" effect, Special Summoning "* Infernity NecromancerPatriarch" and "Infernity Archfiend" from your Graveyard.# Using "Infernity Archfiend's" Effect, add another "* Infernity MirageGeneral" to your hand.# Activate the effect of "Stygian Street Patrol", removing itself from play to Special Summon "* Infernity Mirage" from your Hand.x3# Activate "Infernity Necromancer's" effect, Special Summoning "Infernity Beetle" from your Graveyard.# Using the effect of "Shadowpriestess of Ohm", Tribute "Infernity Beetle", "Infernity Necromancer" and "Infernity Archfiend" for a total of points of 2400 Burn Damage.# Tribute "Infernity Mirage" to activate its effect, Special Summoning "Infernity Necromancer" and "Infernity Archfiend" from your Graveyard. # When "Infernity Archfiend" is Special Summoned, DO NOT use its effect to add an "Infernity" Card from your Deck to your Hand (unless you are adding an "Infernity" trap card to set, but since this is an OTK it hardly matters).# Activate "* Infernity Necromancer's" effect, Special Summoning "Infernity Beetle".# Using the effect of "Shadowpriestess of Ohm", Tribute "Infernity Beetle", "Infernity Necromancer" and "Infernity Archfiend" for a total of 2400 points of Burn Damage.# By now, you have successfully inflicted 8000 points of Burn Damage to your opponent. ==Infernity World==This deck revolves around the not having any cards in your hand as well but use the "Dark World" Swarm. == Recommended cards == === Monsters ===* Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World* Sillva, Warlord of Dark Worldx3

* Infernity Inferno
* Solemn Judgment}}===Weaknesses===Despite their power, "Infernity Barrier" can be quite the glass-cannon as their reliance on having no hand can keep the player from using their effects if unable to discard. Cards like "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" and "Effect Veiler" can also harm the Deck significantly as shutting down the effects of "Archfiend" can be a death sentence. Cards like "Dimensional Fissure" will also stop it dead in its tracks. Another, arguably greater flaw is the Deck's reliance on an explosive start which can quickly drain resources and make it vulnerable if unable to go in for a quick kill.
Trivia
* In The Deck has great symbolism with its user in the Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's when Kalin says Infernity, you can hear him mispronouncing it Infinity. * In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 54 and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 55 the word Infernity was used instead of Infernality (ep. 33-35)mindset. For example, when Kalin played believes he must pay for his wrongdoings, and "Infernality Fiendfate" in episode 33determines whether or not he will win. He largely determines his win or loss off his topdecks, as he then later called it by its TCG name must have no cards in his hand when dueled Yusei again (epdueling. 54This can be well said about the play-55). * The more recent additions style of the "Infernity" archetype seem to have , as it is an almost guaranteed win if you draw a good hand, but you will likely lose very quickly if you draw a Western Shootout theme bad hand and are unable to themempty it fast enough, unless you topdeck an extremely lucky card such as "Infernity Archfiend". * The new In the manga, Kalin sometimes refers to his monsters as "Purgatory" monsters rather than "Infernity" cards used in the manga have a Medieval theme. * The handless effect of the "Infernity" archetype is identical to the "Hellbent" effect of the "Rakdos" related cards from Magic: The Gathering.** Additionally, the "Rakdos" cards use Red/Fire and Black/Darkness mana, while "Infernity" monsters are DARK monsters and their artwork generally depicts them in some fiery location or using fire.* "Infernity" is notorious for its ability to take huge advantage of new Summoning types and mechanics.** While initially doing little of note, the archetype quickly made great use of "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" pre-errata.** During the Xyz era, the Deck was able to abuse both "Leviair the Sea Dragon" and "Lavalval Chain" to easily keep "Hundred Eyes Dragon" in a deadly state, even copying the effects of "Mirage" to keep the game in their favor.** During the Pendulum era the archetype favored using a combination of "Performapal Skullcrobat Joker", "Monekyboard" and "Lizardaw" to easily abuse Pendulum Summoning, short-lived as it was.** When Link Monsters were introduced, "Infernity" was almost immediately using a combination of "Firewall Dragons" are , "DARKSummon Sorceress-attribute monsters " and their artwork generally depicts them with fire"Knightmare Goblin" to rise up once again prior to the cards in question being banned.== References ==<references />
