Biography
When the Hanoi Project came to light, Sol Technologies imprisoned Dr. Kogami in order to cover up the incident, as well as attempt to monopolize the Ignis for high profit. Sol Technologies infected Dr. Kogami with a computer virus, putting him into a coma. Three years after the Hanoi Project, he was believed to have died, and was publicly declared dead,<ref name="ep20" /> but his consciousness continued to exist in the network. His son, [[Revolver]], was able to remove the virus, and recreate his mind in the network. Revolver is later taking care of his body.<ref name="ep3">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS|3|ref}}</ref>. At some point later on, Dr. Kogami and Revolver formed the [[Knights of Hanoi]], with the intent of eradicating all the Ignis within the network, believing that they are savage creatures with the intent of destroying the world, rather than saving it.
