"D/D Savant Thomas":

If this card and another "D/D" card are in your Pendulum Zones, "Echo Oscillation" can be activated to destroy your other Pendulum Scale and draw a card, then use this card's Pendulum Effect to recover the "D/D" Pendulum Monster that was just destroyed with the effect of "Echo Oscillation".

If there are three copies of this card (one in your hand, one in your Pendulum Zone, and one on your field), a loop can be initiated by using the monster effect of the copy on your field to destroy the copy in your Pendulum Zone and Special Summon a Level 8 "D/D/D" monster from your Deck. Place the copy in your hand in the Pendulum Zone vacated by the copy that was destroyed and use its Pendulum Effect to retrieve that copy from your Extra Deck. This combo can be repeated on your next turn to Summon another Level 8 "D/D/D" monster or alternatively, use both the copy on the field and the Special Summoned "D/D/D" monster as Fusion or Xyz Material for a Summon.
- If your opponent destroys the copy in your Pendulum Zone, the copy can easily be placed in your hand in the Pendulum Zone to retrieve it from the Extra Deck, or use the effect of "Dark Contract with the Yamimakai" to place it back in the Pendulum Zone. If your opponent destroys the copy on your field, it can be Pendulum Summoned back if "D/D Savant Newton" is placed in your other Pendulum Zone.
