Rare cards are the next step up in rarity from Common cards, and, generally, aren't worth much more. They're identified by silver lettering, without a holofoil. Most booster packs contain 1 rare card.
Rare Card Misprints
Many cards have been misprinted with incorrect lettering. Here are a few examples:
- A Gearfried the Iron Knight card with the silver lettering 'Kuriboh'
- A The Forceful Sentry card with the silver lettering 'Ryu Senshi'.
- A Trap Hole card with the silver lettering 'Fusion Gate'
These cards, and others like them, are illegal for Tournament Play.
