Rare cards are the next step up in rarity from Common cards, and, generally, aren't worth much more. They're identified by silver name text and no holofoil. Most booster packs contain 1 rare card.
Rare Card Misprints
Many cards have been misprinted with incorrect lettering. Here are a few examples:
- A Gearfried the Iron Knight card with the silver lettering 'Kuriboh'
- A The Forceful Sentry card with the silver lettering 'Ryu Senshi'.
- A Trap Hole card with the silver lettering 'Fusion Gate'
These cards, and others like them, are illegal for Tournament Play.
