, sub boxes may be included as needed.

If you have an issue creating the infobox you can save a page with {{subst:Infobox/Yu-Gi-Oh!/Archetype}} and then the default set of templates will be inserted into the page. You can then fill in the parameters with the info and add any other needed infoboxes.

This template starts the infobox. There are a few parameters which can be passed.

• name: Changing this parameter will change what text is displayed at the top as the name of the archetype. Changing this will also change the name that the page is sorted under in the Archetype category.
• english: You may enter the English name of the Archetype under this parameter.
• kanji: You may enter the Japanese Kanji name of the Archetype under this parameter.
• romaji: You may enter the Japanese Romaji name of the Archetype under this parameter.
• other: If there is anything else about the name, such as a literal translation which needs to be noted, you can use this parameter for that.
• image name: Placing the filename (Without Image: at the start) of an image in this parameter will display that image in a section of the Infobox.
• image size: The default size of the image is 300px so normally you should use images which are larger than that, but if the sizing does not work for the image then you can alter what the sizing ends up as.
• image caption: The caption of the image can be altered.
• image: If you did not enter a image name this parameter adds content to the image section, it's used mostly in cases where you may have a collection of images and you want all of them to be displayed.
• float: Setting this to left or right will cause the infobox to float to a side of the page to allow text to wrap around, using none will make it act normally, the default is a right float.
• ref: The references used with the <ref></ref> may be placed here.
