So, yeah, I've gotten on trying to fix the Yubel article again.
...I mean, seriously, what is it that you guys want? Do you WANT an unverifiable, unreferenceable wiki full of "fanwank" like personal theories about things symbolizing Yubel's maturation from a child to a "hardened teenage girl"... >.>. One that has the awful grammar on that page? One run by the whims of a couple of users and their own personal interpretation of one version of a show applying it to others? (really...)
So I'm not changing the gender and doing all the mass edits I did previously yet, as of now I'm only removing things like the ridiculous "hardened teenage girl" statement, and the various unverifiable theories all over the page. But I get the feeling that a certain person is going to revert immediately and try to block me. So...
What I'm really frustrated about is that he just never even considers compromising or even discussing. The first time, when I edited, I first left a note on the discussion page, and there was no responses for over a week, so I went ahead and edited. (and I got blocked because of it).
He insists that it is somehow "fanwank" and he is so passionate about it (and has these ridiculous lines, many of them using the dub, which we all know is heavily censored and not at all representative of the real version, as justification). I mean, we've gone over a number of times that "she" was probably likely actually male in the real version in teh past life- her voice sounded much more boylike to myself who is a semifluent speaker of Japanese, and the original hair/eye color is on the side of her body w/o the breast, the one with the pectoral muscle and all (and a score of other things). But I'm not even putting "male" on the page, I already compromised!
(and the nonsense about the deep voice being "proof" of "her effeminate-ness" doesn't really work, because the same logic about Yubel "growing up" could apply there too, is Yubel evolving into Yubel des Extremer Traurig Drachen, when evolving is frequently in anime accompanied with a replacement with a deeper voice, so ridiculous?)
Sorry for the rant. It's just that he would never compromise with me on it (why the heck is he so passionate), so I would request your help, at least in idealogical support...
(I mean, if he would just accept a compromise and not put arguments ONTO the public page as a sort of final "so, there" that would be a significant improvement, even if it still said "female"...)

I'm new to this wiki, and I have a few questions. I'm unable to locate a guidelines page, so pointing be towards one would be great. The first regards redirects. I saw [[User:TwoTailedFox|another admin]] delete a redirect that I considered helpful. This brought into question whether the redirects I've been recently creating are against this wiki's guidelines for whatever. Specifically, I've been creating card and character articles using the translated Japanese names and then redirecting them to the dubbed versions that are the actual articles. Secondly, as far as character deck lists go, is it policy for them to be alphabetized? I saw several alphabetized and have done so to a few more and personally prefer alphabetically organized lists. So I also want to make sure doing so isn't breaking policy, or if in fact, it would be considered helpful since they should have been that way in the first place.

Also, no up-to-date Yu-Gi-Oh! card uses "may not"; they use "cannot".

===Belated Eulogy===
My first (and perhaps only) impression of him did not go over so well. I was one of many anons who tried to fix the lore of "[[Golden Castle of Stromberg]]" for the better, and he took out all of his wrath caused by those anons on me, semi-protecting the page as a result. Admittedly, I did not know the significance of Japanese lore at the time, and updated many a card lore based on what happened in the episodes they were used in. I now have completely changed my ways, and undone all damage I have done to said cards.<br>In a somewhat foolish way, I hope he can appreciate the fact that I managed to complete his small goal of having the Japanese text of "Golden Castle of Stromberg" fully translated. :Wikia ran a video migration tool last year that caused people to be credited with new edits to videos. There was a certain amount of kerfluffle at the time because of people suddenly appearing to edit, even people who had been blocked or were otherwise not expected to be editing any more.
