Bakura's Turn

• Activates Polymerization sending The Earl of Demise and Headless Knight to the graveyard to fusion summon Duke of Demise (2000/1700) in attack position.

Seto's Turn

• Summons Vorse Raider (1900/1200) in attack position.
• Activates Shrink reducing Duke of Demise's ATK by half for the duration of this turn (ATK 1000).
• Attacks Duke of Demise with Vorse Raider (Bakura 3100).
• Due to its effect Duke of Demise is not destroyed as a result of battle.

Bakura's Turn

• Bakura must pay 500 life points (Bakura 2600) if he wants to keep Duke of Demise in play.
• Tributes Duke of Demise to summon Diabound Kernel (1800/1200) in attack position.
• Activates Spirit Illusion equiping it to Diabound Kernel special summoning an Illusion Token with the same ATK, DEF, Level, Attribute, and Type as Diabound Kernel and whenever the Illusion Token battles a monster neither it or its controller take any damage and it reduces the ATK of the monster it battles with by its own ATK.
• Attacks Vorse Raider with the Illusion Token, Vorse Raider (ATK 100).
• Attacks Vorse Raider with Diabound Kernel (Seto 2300).
• Sets a card.

Seto's Turn

• Summons Lord of D. (1200/1100) in attack position.
• Activates The Flute of Summoning Dragon so now since Seto has Lord of D. on the field he can special summon up to two dragons.
• Special summons Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) in attack position.
• Attacks Diabound Kernel with Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
• Bakura activates Spirit Shield so he can remove a monster card in his graveyard (Headless Knight) from play to negate the attack and end the battle phase.
• Sets a card.

Bakura's Turn

• Activates Pot of Greed drawing two cards from his deck.
• Activates Grief Tablet equiping it to Lord of D. preventing the monster equipped with it from attacking or changing its battle position, negating its effect, and when its sent to the graveyard it's owner's life points are reduced by 500.
• Attacks Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Illusion Token (ATK 1200).
• Attacks Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Diabound Kernel.
• Seto activates Attack Guidance Armor so he can control the target of the attack redirects the attack to Lord of D. (Seto 1700).
• Grief Tablet's effect activates since it was sent to the graveyard it reduces Seto's life points by 500 (Seto 1200).
• Sets two cards.

Seto's Turn

• Activates Card of Demise drawing until he is holding five cards in his hand but five turns later he must discard his entire hand.
• Activates Soul Release removing The Earl of Demise and Duke of Demise from play.
• Since there are no longer any monsters in Bakura's graveyard Spirit Shield is destroyed.
• Activates Silent Doom special summoning Vorse Raider (1900/1200) in defense position but it can't attack.
• Tributes Vorse Raider and the weakened Blue-Eyes White Dragon to summon another Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) in attack position.
• Destroys Diabound Kernel with Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Bakura 1400).
• Bakura activates Rebirth Tablet removing a card in his graveyard from play to special summon Diabound Kernel (1800/1200) in attack position.
• Activates Mirror Tablet so since Seto tribute summoned during his turn he can add half the ATK of one of the tributed monsters to one of his monsters chooses Blue-Eyes White Dragon adding half of its ATK to Diabound Kernel (ATK 3300).

Bakura's Turn

• Destroys Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Diabound Kernel (Seto 900).

Seto's Turn

• Activates Monster Reborn special summoning Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) in attack position from the graveyard.
• At this point the sun rises and Bakura gives Seto the Millennium Eye telling him to come to Egypt if he wants to know more about Blue-Eyes White Dragon's history.
• Bakura leaves for Egypt.

Since Bakura leaves before the match is through the duel is declared as a tie. Final Score (Bakura 1400) (Seto 900).
