Like many video games, ''Duel Monsters II'' restricts certain cards. These There are 22 cards cannot be included in the player's DeckMonster Cards, but unlike later games, they which can still only be used in a Duel if the player acquired through [[Fusion Summon#Temporarily obtaining cards|Fusiontemporary means]] or [[, namely Fusion and Ritual Summon|Ritual]] Summons .
