Yuma, now knowing Rei's true identity as the "Barian's Guardian", decides to investigate the Barians with Rei, leaving Astral in the dark about it. On the other hand, Astral, investigating his memories in the Emperor's Key to find out what he can about the Barians, runs into Dark Mist! A gigantic black shadow looms towards Astral, as he refuses to accept Dark Mist's rants that "Astral requires evil". When the voice's master says "Thou must be tested", Yuma and Astral are challenged to a Duel.
