Changes

[[Yugi]] is first presented as a very shy, timid and a very childish boy, who is completely honest and pure of heart, but with little friends other then his childhood friend [[Téa Gardner|Anzu]] , and Miho Nosaka, and was constantly bullied by [[Joey Wheeler|Jonouchi]] and [[Tristan Taylor|Honda]]. His voice is extremelly high pitched and his facial structure isn't as sharp as it is in the second series anime, particularly his blonde fringe which is much less stiff and rigid than it is in the second series. This anime depicts how he came about the [[Millenium Puzzle]] and how finally solving it released the spirit of [[Dark Yugi]] and his body becoming host to the three thousand year old spirit. Upon finding out the one who solved the puzzle could be granted a wish, he wished to have some real friends who would never betray you. His wish was granted when he earnt Jonouchi and Honda's trust and they became his loyal friends. He becomes more open and confident as the series progresses.
