*This card is used several times by Joey Wheeler. It first appeared in Joey's duel with Espa Roba, who was cheating in the duel (Espa's younger brothers were on top of a nearby building sneaking peeks at Joey's cards. They mistook Joey's Skull Dice as a second Graceful Dice.). When Espa attacked Joey's "Swordsman" with "Fiend Megacyber", Joey activated "Graceful Dice" to increase his "Swordsman of Landstar"'s ATK, but he got only a three which in turn only tripled his monster's ATK. However to Espa's shock, Joey activated this card to decrease Espa's monster's ATK. Joey got a five from this card's effect which meant Espa's monster lost one-fifth of its ATK, allowing "Swordsman of Landstar" to destroy "The Fiend Megacyber". Joey then pointed out that because of how he held his cards, Espa knew he had two dice cards, but he couldn't tell which dice cards he had in his hand.

*Joey next used this card in his duel with Weevil. He activates it when "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" attacks "Parasite Paracide". However he got a two on the roll which meant that "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth"'s ATK was halved. Joey then activated "Graceful Dice" and he got a four on the roll which meant "Parasite Paracide"'s ATK was quadrupled, allowing "Parasite Paracide" to counterattack and destroy "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth".
Notes
* This card was used again in Joey's duel with Mako. After Mako forced "Alligator's Sword" out of the protection of "Fairy Box" using "Umi, he had his "Amphibian Beast attack "Alligator's Sword", but Joey used this card in response. Joey got a four on the roll which meant that "Amphibian Beast" lost one-fourth of its ATK, allowing "Alligator's Sword" to counterattack and destroy "Amphibian Beast".
* The targeted monster had its ATK divided by the amount rolled on the die.
+
* It was next used in Yugi's duel with Joey who was possessed by Marik. Joey activated this card and "Graceful Dice" in response to "Beast of Gilfer" attacking "Panther Warrior". Yugi used "De-Spell" to destroy "Graceful Dice", preventing "Panther Warrior" from having its ATK increased. Joey then used this card to weaken Yugi's monster. He only got a two on the roll which meant "Beast of Gilfer"'s ATK was cut in half. "Beast of Gilfer"'s attack then continued, destroying "Panther Warrior" as "Beast of Gilfer" was still stronger than "Panther Warrior" even with its ATK halved.

* This card was next used in Joey's duel with Johnson. When "Kamionwizard" attacked "Panther Warrior", Joey activated this card. Joey got a six on the roll, but Johnson cheats by changing the result to a one, leaving "Kamionwizard"'s ATK unchanged.
* This card is a Quick-Play Spell Card. In the dub of the original series, it is edited to have the purple borders of a Trap Card, to match its OCG/TCG status. (Note that due to the way this card was used in each of its appearances, always being Set facedown and used when an opponent attacked, there were no functional discrepancies with the Trap changes made.)
+
* This card was next used in the Battle Royal duel between Yugi, Joey, Kaiba, and Yami Marik. Joey used this card when "Dark Jeroid" attacked "Gearfried the Iron Knight" who was weakened by "Dark Jeroid"'s effect. Joey got a two on the roll, which meant that "Dark Jeroid"'s ATK is cut in half. However Kaiba then used "Shrink" to cut "Gearfried"'s ATK in half. "Dark Jeroid"'s attack then successfully destroyed "Gearfried".

+
* This card was used in Joey's second duel with Mai. Joey used this card when "Harpie's Pet Dragon" attacked "The Fiend Megacyber". Joey got a two on the roll which meant that "Harpie's Pet Dragon"'s ATK is cut in half. This allowed "The Fiend Megacyber" to counterattack and destroy "Harpie's Pet Dragon".

* This card was used in Joey's third duel with Mai. Joey used this card when Mai used the "Harpie Lady Sister" that was powered up by the effect of "Blue Flame Swordsman" to attack "Flame Swordsman". However Joey only got a two on the roll, meaning that the ATK of the attacking "Harpie Lady Sister" is halved. The attack then continued, destroying "Flame Swordsman".
* In episode 58, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Espa Roba (who was cheating by having his younger brothers report to him the cards in his opponent's hand). The brothers see this card and mistakenly tell him it is "Graceful Dice". Joey then sets this card and "Graceful Dice". Espa then Tribute Summons "The Fiend Megacyber" and uses it to attack Joey's "Swordsman of Landstar", confident the attack will succeed as a player is only allowed to activate one "Graceful Dice" per turn. After Joey activates "Graceful Dice" and gets a three (which makes the ATK of "Swordsman of Landstar" 1500), Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "The Fiend Megacyber" by the result. The result is a five, so the ATK of "The Fiend Megacyber" is divided by five. "Swordsman of Landstar" then destroys "The Fiend Megacyber". Joey then points out that because of how he held his cards, Espa knew Joey held two dice cards, but was unable to tell which dice cards he had in his hand.

*This card can be seen in Joey's hand during the battle royal in 122.

+
*This card divides the attack power of an enemy monster by the number rolled in the anime as opposed to the reduction of attack power by the number rolled times 100 in the TCG.
* In episode 60, this card can be seen in Seto Kaiba's briefcase when he offers all the rare cards inside the briefcase to Koji Nagumo.
+
*In addition, the Japanese anime version of this card was a Quick-Play Spell Card as opposed to the TCG version.
** Unlike other occurrences in the Japanese version of the series (where this card is shown as a Quick-Play Spell Card), this card is shown as a Trap Card in this episode.

* In episode 64, Joey uses this card during his duel against Weevil Underwood. When "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" attacks Joey's "Parasite Paracide", Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" by the result. Joey got a two, so the ATK of "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" is halved.

* In episode 68, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. After Mako forces "Alligator's Sword" out of the protection of "Fairy Box" by activating "Umi", Mako uses "Amphibian Beast" to attack "Alligator's Sword", but Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Amphibian Beast" by the result. Joey gets a four, so the ATK of "Amphibian Beast" is divided by four. "Alligator's Sword" then destroys "Amphibian Beast".

* In episode 77, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto while the former was possessed by Marik Ishtar. When Yugi's "Archfiend of Gilfer" attacks Joey's "Panther Warrior" (whose ATK was 500 due to "Attrition"), Joey activates this card and "Graceful Dice" in response. After Yugi activates "De-Spell" to destroy "Graceful Dice", Joey continues the effect of this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Archfiend of Gilfer" by the result. Joey gets a two, so the ATK of "Archfiend of Gilfer" is halved. "Archfiend of Gilfer" then destroys "Panther Warrior". On Joey's End Phase, the effect of this card expires.

Virtual World
* In episode 104, this card can be seen when Joey was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Johnson.

** This card is later shown when Joey was looking through his Deck to choose a Deck Master before he chooses his "Flame Swordsman".

* In episode 105, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Johnson. When "Kamionwizard" attacks "Panther Warrior", Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Kamionwizard" by the result. Joey gets a 6, but Johnson cheats by changing the result to a 1, leaving the ATK of "Kamionwizard" unchanged. "Kamionwizard" then destroys "Panther Warrior".

Battle City Finals
* In episode 122, this card is shown in Joey's hand during the Battle Royale between himself, Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, and Yami Marik. Two episodes later, "Dark Jeroid" attacks "Gearfried the Iron Knight" (which had 1000 ATK due to the effect of "Dark Jeroid"), but Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Dark Jeroid" by the result. Joey gets a 2, so the ATK of "Dark Jeroid" is halved. However Kaiba activates "Shrink" to halve the ATK of "Gearfried the Iron Knight". "Dark Jeroid" then destroys "Gearfried the Iron Knight". On Yami Marik's End Phase, this card's effect expires.

Waking the Dragons
* In episode 154, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. When "Harpie's Pet Dragon" (which had 2500 ATK due to "The Seal of Orichalcos") attacks "The Fiend Megacyber", Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Harpie's Pet Dragon" by the result. Joey gets a 2, so the ATK of "Harpie's Pet Dragon" is halved. "The Fiend Megacyber" then destroys "Harpie's Pet Dragon".

* In episode 173, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mai. When one of Mai's "Harpie Lady Sisters" (which had 4100 ATK due to the effects of Joey's "Blue Flame Swordsman" and Mai's "The Seal of Orichalcos") attacks "Flame Swordsman", Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of the "Harpie Lady Sister" by the result. Joey gets a 2, so the ATK of the "Harpie Lady Sister" is halved. The attacking "Harpie Lady Sister" then destroys "Flame Swordsman".

Grand Championship
* In episode 187, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. After the effect of "Graceful Dice" was negated by the effect of "The Legendary Gambler" due to Apdnarg getting a higher die result, Joey activates this card to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Wandering Mummy" by the result, however Apdanarg uses the effect of "The Legendary Gambler" again to roll his own die. Joey got a five while Apdnarg got a six. Since Apdnarg's roll was higher, this card's effect was negated. "Wandering Mummy" then destroys "Swordsman of Landstar".

Scripted Duels
* In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2012 Special: Joey vs. Kaiba, Joey sets this card. The next turn, it is destroyed by Kaiba's "A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon".
