::::In Buddhism, "enlightenment" is often used as the English word for bodhi, among other things. Although "awakened" is a more accurate translation of bodhi. (See wikipedia:Enlightenment in Buddhism for more information.) 覚醒 seems to be an accepted Japanese translation of the same term (See wikipedia:ja:菩提).

::::I'd be more in favour of moving to "Awakened Mode". Although if the ability is based on the Buddhism concept or related to the card "Enlightenment Paladin", then I'd maybe prefer "Enlightenment"/"Enlightened", but note that "Awakened" is the more accurate translation. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:53, January 16, 2016 (UTC)

I get Awakened is more accurate but Berserk Mode was term that used for a long time so I think that at least mentioning this in this page would be great.

It's not like it would do any harm..

Awakened makes more sense: its literally something awakening inside Yuya and friends. "Enlightened's" connotation is far too positive to logically call a state where Yuya becomes downright evil and want to destroy everything; furthermore, isn't enlightenment's meaning all about peace, knowledge, understanding, and self-control? An out-of-control, irrational state of mind is the complete opposite of that. Not to mention that Awakened is the more accurate translation anyway. I'd say to rename the page to "Awakened [Mode/State]," or simply "Awakened (ability)." :THAT would have been nice to hear earlier...anyway, is there actually any link in the characters used in the name of "Enlightened Paladin" and the term that Ono uses? If so, then gimmicky as it is, "Enlightened" is technically more accurate, but if not, then I'd be fine with Awakened. It only got moved because I was apparently the only person who cared enough to continue the discussion.

:Sorry, rant over. Sanokal K-T (talk • contribs) 01:02, September 18, 2016 (UTC)

:Since the Japanese name (覚醒) doesn't mention "Mode", I'd say "Awakening" or "Enlightenment". I'd edge more towards to "Awakening" per Laxus' comments.

:I think bracketed text at the end of page names should be for resolving naming conflicts, not categorisation. "Awakened (ability) is excessive because there's currently no page called "Awakened". "Awakening" is already used as a redirect to "Invigoration" (which has the same Japanese name as this). Adding "(ability)" to the end of that name would depend on whether or not people are more likely to refer to this than the card, which I'd say they are. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:49, September 22, 2016 (UTC)
